Some property owners have developed a negative attitude toward subletting and renting out properties through Airbnb because they’ve dealt with unreliable people involved in short-term rentals. The problem was that the sole goal of such operators was to squeeze as much money as possible out of the property right then and there, without regard for maintaining cleanliness, preserving the apartment’s condition, or keeping a high rating on the booking platform.
Fortunately, those days are behind us; following the coronavirus pandemic, tourists stopped coming to Prague and stopped booking accommodations.
